See the difference driver. You see, the beer doesn't give a #### about the delivery appointment, cost for repair, etc... The office peeps know there is nothing they can say or do to the beer to get it to bow to their wishes.

Now, with that said, your next move should be very clear. BE THE BEER! Don't bow to their wishes. Force their hand like the beer would.

 

I had a Cascadia that would not idle, even with a steel weight on the pedal. It had to be reprogrammed.

The company must supply you with a motel room to rest if there is no heater in the truck working to keep you warm.

It's the one right after the one about them getting you to the state line afer firing you.....

 

I am a Christian. But if you get involved with any person, or business that hammer the point that they run a Christian business? You run fast and far away. Personal experience.

 

No law but as a past Safety Director and Terminal manager I can say every driver I personally know that had a broken heater had to be put in a motel for safety or just to sleep. Any company that does not put drivers in a motel can be opening themselves up to a vicarious liability lawsuit due to driver not getting rest. If he/she is in accident due to fatigue the company can be sued for 10 times the liability coverage.
