When they disabled idle, they’d have to enable a search fora new driver, I idled my truck last two nights, pulling first load was 79200, averaged 6.7, through hills.
This load I am 81460 and got 6.37 according to fuel I just put in it and mileage.
Tell them when they go home to sit in their car, doors locked, windows up and try and sleep in the heat.

If one were to sit in a car, with doors locked, windows up, and slept in the heat, that person would probably flat out die.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.

no difference than in a truck.
But its murder to leave a kid in a hot car and they die from heat exhaustion, but perfectly legal to make a driver sit in the heat, maybe die, but if he/she doesn’t die, then try to rest so he can be unrested, get a ticket for fatigue driving, and maybe kill himself or others.
    Makes perfect sense to me.

You’d have to be some kind of moron to sleep in a non running truck with all the windows up in the summer. You’re really stretching to make this point.

Does anyone have any experience with the sleep apps for your phone? If they are accurate at all, that would be a way for the OP to get an idea of if he's got apnea or doesn't.

The OP could just record themselves sleeping and listen later to see if they hear or see themselves stop breathing or gasping for air. If someone does that 5 time or more per hour they probably have sleep apnea. Someone is supposed to stop breathing for 10 seconds to count as sleep apnea EVENT. Then do it 5 time or more per hour to count as sleep apnea that should be fixed
