They have a position for a straight truck driver for 21.35 an HR. But I hear this company pays good and that seems low. Are you ever able to negotiate pay based on experience? Has anyone ever worked for and known someone who has worked for them and know what they typically get paid?

In my area (western PA) they're advertising 80-100k a year with a 2 year experience requirement. I talked to one driver and he said he makes around 85. They haul a lot of food for Aldi stores here. He said it's physical work but it pays off

Thanks for the info. Yeah I know the semi guys make some good money.

$21.35 seems high for straight truck work.
-
Yeah
Yeah you might be right. But I just know they have some other straight truck jobs where they advertise a take home of like 1100 which if I do the math right would be higher than this. Maybe that's delivering other stuff. Just wondering if someone here works there -
I know they haul auto parts in Chicago
-
I know someone here worked for them. Maybe they'll see this but they have class b positions claiming a 1300 dollar take home. That has to be before taxes, right?

Companies normally advertise the potential GROSS pay you might attain, since they could not have any knowledge of your particular tax, insurance withholding situation.marvelousmack, JOHNQPUBLIC and jmz Thank this.
