A "Dear Abby" Letter

My dear old dad showed me that letter to Abby this morning. My hat's off to those truckers!

 

It sure is a nice feeling knowing we still have nice people out there .

 

There most certainly is! What a great thing to read on this wonderful Sunday morning!

That letter gets posted every few years. I think it started about 1985. But it's a great story.

 

aww thats a very sweet story,thank god for nice people still in this world.

 

I guess im trying too figure who car thay were talking too with the milliuons of cbs out there , if i seen three big rigs come up too me i be scared sensles, in a small car, guess i wacthed one too many horror 18 wheeler shows, now that neg too this story, now on the pos side of this story , i gladly be one those truckers lending a hand , so many creeps out there, i even buy them a nice dinner, kudos on a great Christmas story, Everett.

 

You know, as a woman who was entering this industry, I had read a lot of bad things about it. I really had to weigh my desire to become a trucker with the hassels faced by female truckers.
I was prepared for the bad and ugly side of trucking... but, it actually for me has not been bad. In fact I went from having only 2 older brothers, 1 in Omaha and 1 in MNPLS to having several across the nation.
There are a lot of great guys and gals out there..... And we should always remember that and be thankful for them.
