Looking on Google street view you can see a sign before the first bridge, 14'5"

George Massey tunnel going into Richmond B.C.
I was permitted by B.C this way at 4.3m high.
Fun times. They had to escort me into the maintenance area, and up and over the tunnel and back southbound.FerrissWheel, Bud A. and not4hire Thank this. -
It's guesswork if I'm in Canada and all the heights are given using the French system. That's another reason I'm glad I'm regional now -- no Canada, no kilometers per hour, no bridge heights in meters. Nothing against you Canadians personally, just your signage.FerrissWheel, Flat Earth Trucker and not4hire Thank this.

I just put everything on and call it good...lol
FerrissWheel, not4hire and Bud A. Thank this. -

Yes,
It’s called a tape measure .
They can be very useful for determining exact distances .FerrissWheel, Bud A., not4hire and 1 other person Thank this. -
In another thread I got made fun of because I mentioned that I know a driver that gets out his road atlas and traces the permitted route with his finger and makes notes.
Tracing it on Google maps satellite is a good idea too, but for long distances the atlas map is easier to get the big picture.
All the scrolling on an iPad is annoying.FerrissWheel and Bud A. Thank this. -
That doesn't exactly work in Canada. They have pages for the provinces but the routes aren't marked.FerrissWheel Thanks this.
-
There's no difference; US permit routes are not marked in the atlas.FerrissWheel and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this.

That audio from the video sounds like a dial up connection from the early 90s that went to hell and back.
FerrissWheel Thanks this.
