No transportation cost really. It's all made at refineries right here in California. Most of the cost is very high fuel taxes. They also make special blends to reduce emissions at various times of the year and claim that raises the price as well.Final Drive and Buddy Stinson Thank this.

Y'all want to talk about a shafting. In my small town we have a refinery that makes gasoline and diesel. In my town $3.49 a gallon. 40 miles up the road $3.05 a gallon.

Get used to it, it is going up even more when the infrastructure bill is passed.

In California east of yosemite on 395 saw diesel for 5.89. Cross into Nevada and get to carson for 3.70 a gallon - this was almost week and half ago.
