Some want the original snail mailed to them within 2-3 weeks of delivery with invoice

 

If you don't know the company who still requests this, you may want to avoid them as the pay will be very slowly as well. This is a stalling technique by some companies who are experiencing money issues.

 

Going to be usually 30 days anyway.
Sone are sooner, they operate on your money for that time.
I’m owed almost 17k right now for this month, should start getting checks on the 30th

 

I personally don't take any job that takes more than 7 days to pay unless they pay really really well. 90% of my jobs pay ach upto 48 hours after delivery.

 

Don’t work that way at most places in dry bulk/hopper unless direct shipper, one pays in 7 days, I’ve seen 45-90 days, I won’t go longer than 30, but I haul for that bunch a lot.
