Gettin some new steers put on. Going with the continentals this time. What brands do u guys like ? Ive never had any luck with these michelins. Barely lasted 100k miles. Cant justify the price of them for poor mileage.

Yeah that is something ive never realized before . Pretty much averaging new tires all around once a year. Thats if i can go without getting a flat ... which that feat has not been accomplished yet

I never had good service from continentals on steers, had one blow out on first trip from Little Rock to Maysville, KY, tire blew in Lexington.
That was in 06-07ish, haven’t ran a continental since.

Goodyear’s and move them back when they start to look crappy…..that way you almost always have new steers.

It's pretty plain to see it's a cat friendly page. No page skipping since I came into this thread.

I get 80k out of steers if I'm lucky. About 100k on all the rest.

Yeah, I got Ironman i-208 on my drives, wearing great, got centramatics too.
Bridgestones on trailer, they’re skipping and wearing inside.
Bridgestone R284 on Freightliner steer wearing good so far.
I’ve used Synergy AP400, before on steer,
used to be SP100, they renumbered, makes a good trailer tire, not real expensive.
