I've seen where the sensor configuration was wrong, and the ecu will say the fault is with "YE1" but it's actually the other side. Also, I'm not positive, but if your 7 wire is worn or loose, and the ABS ecu loses power while the wheels are turning, it may log a fault.

I had no idea that truck stop shops were considered a real repair facility.

I always thought maybe let them patch a tire and that’s about as much as I’d let them do. I think I’d pay a wrecker to take me to a reputable shop before I’d use them if it came to that.

Used some of that WD40 fast drying contact cleaner on the last two trailers that I had ABS issues with and it worked.

Currently running an older trailer, only this time the problem is even worse. I’ve already had it fixed 5 times and still popping the #### on. Now again stuck at a TA shop(company refuses to get me into a trailer shop) 10 + hours to get it fixed again.

Unbolt the trailer socket from the trailer and check the back of the plug where the wires screw in, for corrosion. The abs will be the blue wire in the middle.

Check both the truck and trailer socket. I uses to have the same problem everytime id hit a bump it would flicker. Wires were corroded on the back of the truck plug. All you need to re wire the socket is a phillips head screwdriver, wire strippers and a new plug. And a 10mm socket for the bolts holding it to the trailer.. The plug and cord is always the easiest and cheapest place to start and solves most electrical problems concerning the trailer.

If its happening on multiple trailers. Then the problem is with your truck . most likely going to be your truck electrical plug and socket

Get one of these and some brake clean and clean male and female ends. Apply dielectric grease and try spreading your pins ever so gently to make better contact. Or stuff and old seal between plug and receptacle on trailer to take up slack and provide better connection.
dought it’s the trailer. 7 way cord bouncing and breaking connection

Just unplug it somewhere along the line get loom and wrap the #### out of the line with zip ties and looming, DOT will not rip all that #### off...ABS on trailer is something you can fix 5 million times and it breaks 6 million it's an absolute pain in the ###.
