Twenty five bucks an hour? That's a shame. What state is that? -
That's pretty harsh. If you make a mistake, or even ride in the vehicle with the person who makes a mistake, you deserve to die and your family deserves to suffer. Do you hold yourself to the same standards?

Colorado is the same way, but that's rural part of the state, so the law is a little more lenientBud A. Thanks this.

Hopefully this starts a lot of useful conversations with the teens in that area.HoneyBadger67 and striker Thank this.

I hope you're right. Teens tend to think it can never happen to them. I was the same way.mjd4277, not4hire, Bud A. and 1 other person Thank this.

Yikes that's tough to read about. Those 2 lane highways out that way need extra precautions because motorists travel 65 or better on those highways. There even some roads that have deceptive curves. US 287 is a high volume truck route, so pulling out in front of those truckers can be fatal, as shown here. My thoughts go out the families of all involved
Bud A. Thanks this. -

That's cold, man. You got kids? They all make mistakes. And I'm sure you didn't joyride around with lots of your friends when you were a teenager.
