We haul 60' rebar on a regular basis.
-
Wow, that's not much more then what I'm paying to lease a 2008 model ravens spread axle.
-
I didn't know the weight allowance was different for a spread axle. I thought I was over at 36,000 on the trailer axles.
-
That is a fair reason for needing a 53 for most people, most people cant run 6 foot off the front of their trailerjoseph1853 Thanks this.
-
Aren't many 53s pulling rebar.
It's mostly 48s.
I don't know about most but I've seen a few clueless about that front overhang.joseph1853 Thanks this. -
Ive bought 2013 east spread axle for $24000 w sliding front axle, scale and dunnage rack. Its full aluminum w aluminum wheels
This was at local trailer dealer in spokane WA. You could probably find power only load to area where u find good deal on trailer -
Just Idly curious, have you seen any independent O/O pulling the 60 foot rebar loads ? Might see if they would be willing to advise you on haul rate.

Most of the stuff TNT is advertising is not in stock. Very limited supplies on flatbed trailers at the moment.
I have a 53’ trailer and occasionally haul rebar. I just upgraded from my 48’. I was told I was leaving money on the table not having a 53’. In the last 5 months I’ve hauled 2 loads that couldn’t be hauled by a 48. Not sure it was worth upgrading to the 53 but it was definitely worth upgrading to a new trailer
I don’t think my payment is $800 a month and I put 0 down and no trade in? $1600 a month is outrageous in my opinion,Ruthless, mitmaks and staceydude Thank this. -
I don’t think I would buy or lease from TNT, but I surely would not pay $1695 a month for one. Still easier to find a flatbed than a van nowadays.
I have gotten quite a few 53’ only loads this year. Not that they could not be done on a 48’ but they requested a 53’.
There are days I wish I had a 48’ all alum. For sure. Lolol I do love your new trailer though @Tug Toy
