Two Massachusetts men have died in a fiery crash in Slingshot car.

They rent those stupid things out to tourists here in Las Vegas . They aren't particularly fast, but I guess they are still dangerous - apparently .

 

Remember when the Feds banned 3 wheeler ATV's because of roll overs?
Move the one wheel to the rear and Voila', still a 3 wheeler but legal.

 

Wouldn’t be caught dead in one of those. No pun intended.

there is a small group of guys out here, that have them. on a personal level, i'd rather have a trike bike, rather than that thing.

 

i have a friend that has one. he can turn the trichion control off and it will smoke the rear tire.

 

I loved those things when I was a kid!! Unfortunately the idiots ruined the sport for everyone else(stupid #### like putting 5 year old Junior on a tri- z 250 even the the warning labels clearly stated “experienced riders only” on it. The personal injury vultures made a mint off of lawsuits brought on by people who sued the manufacturers for incidents that were caused by their own stupidity(like the aforementioned incident as well as not using safety gear, stunts, dui, etc).
