I am living in NJ, I have been driving locally north east (NJ NY PA), but then I got perfect opportunity to get a better non driving job and make more money. So I couldnt say no.
Now because government is pushing covid vaccine mandate in NY/NJ, I got idea to move to texas, because thats probably last state with real democracy. (I dont want to drive north east anymore)
- I hear a lot of things about texas, that is perfect for trucking industry, but what is reality?
- I will be looking for local job or shuttle/yard jockey, probably in dallas area.
- How bad is traffic in there for local driving?
- Is it safe place to live?

The usual morning and afternoon backups you’d expect for large cities are the same in Big D. There are TONS of local gigs. Unfortunately, not many Kentuckians, however.

So basically traffic is like north east in NJ/NY area or worst?
What do you mean by "not many Kentuckians"? Like drivers? Lol -

Grass is always greener other side of the fence. Yet the question is...... Do your friends in NJ live in Texas? Your friends are your support. Do you really want to toss that just to live elsewhere?

This is good question. All of my friends are living in NJ, but I dont care. I am kind of person that would feel better when I know less people. And I can still make new friends.
But you are thinking exactly like my wife. She doesnt like this moving idea, but she didnt say no. She is open to try new things, know new places.
Another thing is, that I am not getting vaccine no matter what. And my company will require me to have vaccine or they will let me goChinatown and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
Remember..if your friends can’t support your move and still be friends then they aren’t true friends.. you have to always look out for yourself.Vic Firth Thanks this.

We are thinking about
- florida ( too hot )
