Get a job with LTL companies for local with good pay. Otherwise most local jobs in Texas have low pay.
My guess for a spotter job is $15-$19 an hour in Texas.
Traffic sucks on i35 in Texas the difference is the speed limit is 70-75.

In the words of the Borg. "Resistance is futile". You may be able to avoid it for now. But it will happen no matter where you go. You can live in denial of it. Yet it will happen. It is a matter of time. Then all you will have done is wasted money. Yet your mind is already made.
Go ahead and make the move. Yet it wont make a difference in 2-3 years.Just passing by, Speed_Drums and tarmadilo Thank this. -
I don’t know anything about NY/NJ, but Big D has rush hour like Atlanta, DC, Chicago, etc... Chicago is probably the worst I’ve been around. There doesn’t seem to be a good time to go through there.
Kentuckians are just my kind of folk. If I were looking to move, Kentucky would be HIGH on my list.Speed_Drums, tarmadilo and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
Its not just big D. Pretty much everything from north Dallas to San Antonio along I35 is a mad house.
Those constructions projects will never get finished. If they do manage to finish them, it will be time to start new jobs because of all the growth.
Its perpetual construction.
I would wait for some sort of housing market correction. Mortgages are expensive right now.Speed_Drums, Vic Firth and austinmike Thank this.
