So, I've only been driving on my own for 3 months. I have gotten 4 different trucks because of mechanical issues and have not gone a full week without having tractor or trailer problems. I love the routes I usually have but I cant seem to run for very long before something happens. There was only one incident that was completely my fault (dropped trailer) now I check and recheck every time. I guess im wondering if this happens to every newbie. Am I being tested or should I find a new carrier to work for?

That was the least helpful rant ever. I didn't read all of it because you don't know the whole story and the dropped trailer wasn't the issue of this thread. Thank you.

Submit online applications from the websites before any phone calls. Wait a couple of days, then call and say, "I'm checking on my job application."
