Do Not Work for this guy. He will make you pay an escrow $2,600 that he will not return, there are many people who he kept their paychecks (week after week), and he will fine you $750 for being late no matter your reason. He's going to show you my paychecks to try and con you into working there, He stole from me too.
If you know anyone who worked there please let them know that many of us are going after him Civilly and through FMCSA.

Drivers, don’t take a job where you have to pay escrow. You are giving money you will never see again. I know, I know, lease deals have escrow. Then don’t lease.
JonJon78, Savor the Flavor, JoeyJunk and 3 others Thank this. -
This guy doesn't mention it, and people going into a company driver position don't even ask, because it is not common. I am 20+ year veteran and he sprung it on me at the very end of the process. $2,600 x 100 drivers= $260,000 Free Money... and this isn't all this guy does to steal from his drivers. Forced outlawing or NO Paycheck, $750 late fees, and Drivers will pay all claims regardless of the cause. It gets shadier than this, but I cannot say due to the pending FMCSA investigation.

Sue the trousers off of him to the point his legs and “never nevers” get sun burnt!
JoeyJunk, TB John, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -
Okay, that's twice today you've said "never nevers."
Just sayinTB John, Lonesome and Frank Speak Thank this. -
He doesn't tell anyone, and then it's presented like it's no big deal, you'll get it back, I had a driver steal everything in the truck, yada, yada, yada... Remember you're 1,000 miles from home, financially distressed, and you've burned up the better part of a week...
-
You'd be less financially distressed to walk out, call another company that you looked into during your job search, and tell them what just happened to you. I bet they'll find a way to get you moving toward their terminal/orientation on their dime, and you'd still not lose that $2600.

Do you know what the Escrow is specifically for & did it have a requirement for advance notice of contract termination for return of escrow monies?
Drivers often loose escrow cases according to my acct because they didn't know the specifics of the escrow agreement .TB John Thanks this. -
Leasee: Does your contract have any fine print?
BYOB&CBD: I'll have you know that our contracts have some of the finest print known to mankind. If necessary I can have my marketing director @Lonesome explain the details to you. Do you have a couple of hours to spare?Frank Speak and Lonesome Thank this.
