if you spend 5 hours learning about dividend etf’s in the stock market you can make monthly dividends off those. Say, a 1m dollar account holding dividend etfs (very safe, even if the market drops you just hold and the fed will corrupt it right back up) will yield you about 80k a year, so roughly 8k ish a month in income, so 100k will yield you around 800 or so a month. YouTube “HOW TO INVEST IN ETF DIVIDEND STOCK MARKET”. If you do that you can add that 8k a year into your portfolio and end up with a significant increase in monthly income come your time to retire. A safe number to shoot for is 500k plus in a portfolio, you’ll always at least be able to afford to live.

of course! That’s a 100% facts. How do you get to the first milestone? You bust your tail doing what gets you the most money while young. A single person at my families company can work 6 days and net 3.5k a week (182k). Do that for 5 years, and LITERALLY make a couple moves on SPY options in the stock market and boom there’s 1m. A welder can next 2.5k, and repeat the process. You can sell coke (if you’re risk tolerant) for 5 years and make 1m. You can start a only fans and sell fake pictures. You can start a YouTube channel. You can work for 1 year trucking and buy 5 pickups and start a lawn care service. You can open a bada$$ food joint and clear 40k a month. There is literally NOTHING stopping you from breaking the idea that you can be financially free expect for yourself. If you live like a wage slave victim, you will reap those rewards. I began as a homeless, jobless addict. There’s literally no excuse beside no internet connection.

 

I made it over by a few thousand. twas a good year. I'm going for $120K for 2022.

 

Luck plays a huge part in most success stories. You're posting in a thread about truck drivers making just over $100,000 per year and most of us have expenses that make quick savings like that either painful or impossible.

 

One pebble causes many ripples. $2500 can start you on stocks. A lot of the times it’s an income problem vs a spending problem.

 

I finally broke 6/10ths of the way there. What a year. My frustration with my current gig led me to fill out some apps and get interviews/offers with two much larger companies. Both times I sucked it up and decided to stay put. Again what a weird year.
