Yes and no. Keep in mind according to the story and the pictures above that plow was actully blowing in windshields not to mention punching out headlights and causeing all kinds of body damage. Hard to keep control when you just got a face full of glass slush chemical and christ knows what else with shoulder neck and arm injurys all while the side of your vehicle is being slammed into by hundreds or thousands of pounds of snow.

Still though that is insane, he is lucky no one died.

Reminds me of something an 18 or 19 yr old would do.

Reminds me of management pushing drivers to "get in done or get fired."

Not sure about Ohio but here in PA the state has signs at every rest area and truck stop exit saying "hiring CDL drivers call now!"

Watching some of these idiots at truck stops try to back into a parking space I just think about how much damage they could do with a 16 ft plow in front of them. I guess now I know

I can only wonder what that plow driver is feeling right now. Maybe nothing at all and couldn't care less. Who knows

I am afraid, he thought he was doing his job and that it was the right way.
Basically, this happens a lot with other things on the road, parking lots, loading docks, etc.
Lots of people doing or trying to do dumb stuff and acting defiant or offended when you make a remark about something...until something like this happens.

It says the plow was going ~70mph. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those trucks going faster than about 55, even when not plowing. I always assumed they were just geared too low to go that fast.

Ohio is the same way. There are signs near all the DOT shops advertising for temporary plow drivers.

Vampire, Boondock and Dave1837 Thank this.
