Reparing a hole in the gas tank on a Cascadia to get moving.

Epoxy putty will work,but you have to get enough zip ties to go around the tank and under the putty once it dries.If not it will blow out.

 

Two wide jaw vice grips, one on the pickup, one on the return. Had to do that a few months ago for the same thing. Will ruin the lines but will get you going.

 

Is that a gaping hole?
Looks big.
But if it's a small cut per se.
Jb weld will work.
Had on my tanks for years.
Sets pretty quick as well. Like 1hr

 

They Tee on top of the trans. Pretty easy, talked my driver through it and he has a hard time telling the difference between pliers and a screwdriver. LOL

 

That is how my cascadia is set up.

 

That happened to me one time so I drove a piece of soft wood into the hole. Got me to the terminal which was about 300 miles away. Didn't leak a drop.

And it needs to be clean clean clean or else it won't hold
