Epoxy putty will work,but you have to get enough zip ties to go around the tank and under the putty once it dries.If not it will blow out.

So do these fuel lines usually run independently? I called the mechanic and he said usually all trucks run a dual siphon system meaning each tank has its own send and receive line. He’s hoping that’s the case when he gets up to the truck and he’ll just pinch those lines and get this truck home.

That happened to me one time so I drove a piece of soft wood into the hole. Got me to the terminal which was about 300 miles away. Didn't leak a drop.
