Saw this coming. Had enough time on clock to get to Lamar, PA from Port Carteret NJ. Parked last night. I would sit out today here.
I even looked into heading south. Come across West Virginia. No go. Getting it there too.
.
Well.... It’s sure snowing. And wet.
Was joking with another driver last night. I ain’t no Supertrucker. I don’t play with this stuff. He had same plan as I.
Last time I parked cause of snow. Akron Ohio. Next morning made my way to Clearfield PA. There were 10 trucks off the freeway. 3 of them bad rollovers.

I avoid i76, the Penn. turnpike like the plague.
Was surprised at open parking at this Pilot last night at 9pm. Not a lot. But definitely spots to park.
Am grateful. Got a spot with a view of the fuel island. My Co-driver loves to watch the fuel island. She’s a cat.Numb, Lonesome, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -
No snow here yet, but the wind and rain have certainly picked up.

Snowing hard here in what's left of upstate New York. Calling for 40mph winds later on.
Glad I'm at the house and parked..pete781693, bzinger, ibcalm19 and 4 others Thank this. -
Bad enough they actually waited this long to come in here. Some are so stupid. They’re heading back out!

.
BTW... Western Express is still camped out on the fuel island. Normal.
Some others camped out with him. Brilliant! We got us a storm. So we’ll camp out on the fuel island! Don’t even see if there are any parking spots. Might be? My co driver is upset. “Why don’t they do something?”
.
They are getting some active buying on the fuel island. It’s all electric utility trucks. Working the storm. You can bet they’re collecting double time and a half for this.
