Maybe the reason they're financially comfortable with buying an rv is because they do pay attention to things like diesel prices.
You may not have figured this out about America yet but some people didn't inherit their wealth. Some people, a lot of people really, became wealthy because they worked hard, made good decisions, were honest, and paid attention to what things cost.
Don't hold their wealth against them. They probably earned it and that big rv is just a symbol of what they've done with their life.
Now, if we could just get them to drive it right...

 

Heck, I'd like to meander around the country in an RV going to national parks, other assorted curiosities and whatnot.

 

I've thought about that. Some of those RVs look really comfortable. No schedule, no pressure to make miles. I'd like to see some more of this country before I cash in.

 

I bought this one. I care about fuel prices. Short trips this year mostly. We went last weekend to a city 20 miles away. It got down into the teens. Good times.

 

I dont want to discuss or argue how they become wealthy ( i know some people count every penny i mean rich people and they definitely know price of the dollar ) but rv is not a necessity ...more like an expensive toy that needs service as well and as far as i know its not cheap . My point is that if you can afford this toy gas price or mpg should be your last concern - it was designed for vacation purposes ...not to make money like semi trucks ...its like buying range rover and worrying about mpg .

Ive been cussing them out all over the NW past few weeks, grrrrrrrrrrr.

 

Climbing deadman pass and get stuck under these mfs… like if it’s an easy climb loaded.
