    A short update.

First, sadly we got news today that Leonard's founder, Mr Kent Johnson, passed away on March 29th. So the whole of Leonard's has a heavy heart.

His three sons already own and run Leonard's Express.

Second, I broke down on February 22nd, just an hour or so from home leaving out with my outbound load after home time. Very blessed to break down so close to home.

The 4 bolts that attach the rear universal joint to the yoke ALL sheared off. Got towed to Freightliner Orlando in Apopka.

The tow driver warned me that it would likely be a very long breakdown when dealing with that Freightliner shop. He wasn't lying. Towed to the shop on 2/22. Got the truck back on 3/21.

So I got an unexpected paid vacation at home. Leonard's paid me 26 days of breakdown pay @ $160 per day. The truck repair was covered under warranty so it shouldn't have stung Leonard's too bad to pay me.

    That's all for now.

Do you think your boss we’ll keep his trucks there for a while? It seems like they’re keeping y’all moving with no issue

Driver facing camera in the trucks. Full disclosure. Like it or not, I tell it like it is.
