All those parking spaces and still no place to sit down and enjoy a hot breakfast or dinner. Plenty of fast food at the Food Court, but thats it.

Out of curiosity, are the majority of your miles driven at night?

Actually, when they lost their credit rating a few years ago, that’s when we saw the decline in their truckstops. They were able to take care of their debt, get the credit rating back, and now are able to start taking care of their facilities and add new ones. My only concern is them buying back Whites and Lee Hi, that they don’t ruin them.

Already is. 900 parking spots, but only around 10 porcelain reading stalls. When I was there the last time 1 or 2 in each of the recently remodeled bathrooms was already out of order. One in the front, the lock didn't work, so the occupant had to do some sort if Yoga pose to do their business and keep the door shut. Half the auto-squirt soap dispensers were out of soap. At least one paper towel dispenser out of paper or a dead battery. The only reason I stop there so often is that we pick up in Stuarts Draft up by the Flying Peelot and Love's, and those places are always packed. The Petro always has a spot open every time I get there, no matter the time of day. And, unlike most Petro's, the parking spots are angled the right way so you don't have to worry about someone blindsiding into you after you hang up your curtains and put on your jammies.

Ya know, I was cruising across KY today, and was enjoying how great modern technology is. I was coming west into Lexington on 64. I had my phone set up on a split screen with Google Maps on one side, and my radar app on the other(with dark clouds in the distance), and my Slacker (a.k.a. Live 2 Live) music streaming some electric blues in the background (all on the same device). Really, it was all going fine. Then, just after crossing into IN, I look down and guess what is back...my little yellow engine shaped night light is back on....so there goes my appreciation of modern technology. I guess I should be glad Freightliner doesn't make smartphones or have their own cell network.
