Does anyone have any information on ECM transport? I know werner bought the majority of the company. They seem to pay pretty well and are home daily. Just curious how they are to work for. What is the company match on the 401k. Is the medical insurance expensive. Do u run to different states?

They have a terminal north of Pittsburgh not too far from where I live. Their daycab drivers are home daily, run into the surrounding states. I think when I looked into applying there they paid $25/hr, $27/hr for hazmat drivers. They also paid shift differential, so you made more for working nights. Regional sleeper truck drivers were $0.60 cpm. ECM and Pitt Ohio are the owned by the same people. Both companies have very good reputations and nice equipment. Sorry I can't shed any light on the 401k or benefits
MACK E-6 Thanks this. -
No overtime. Easy job. Have to try to get fired. I spent some time there last year to fill in till I got my authority.

I still talk to a mechanic. So far nothing really changed. Also heard this from a driver two weeks ago.

Don’t they handle Pitt Ohio’s truckload business and haul some of their linehaul loads?
-
Yes, they still pull Pitt Ohio’s trailers.

We would use Pitt Ohio terminals to drop ECM trailers, but they didn’t use ECM terminals. we never pulled each others trailers.

I’ve seen ECM pull Pitt Ohio trailers tho.

I see they have morning positions that start between 3-6am. I assume they are like other carriers when freight volume is high u work ton of hours when it slows so does the hours. For the one who worked for them on average how many hours a day do u get?
