So I've been at it almost a year. I have yet to be pulled in for any type of inspection. Several brokers have mentioned over the year that they can't work with me because of that.
No big deal, but I've considered taking it in and asking for it. Any thoughts? Kinda like pissing on an electric fence?
Should I ask for an inspection so brokers will work with me?

I haven’t either. I drive at night. Nobody where I run is open at night. Or half the days for that matter. At this point I don’t need an inspection. Wouldn’t want one either until the engine is replaced. Too many leaks. Other than that I’d probably pass.
If you need it and are confident you would pass then go for it. But only if you really need those brokers. Thats my 2 cents.Vampire, JolliRoger, Siinman and 5 others Thank this. -
I have the local CHP commercial guy come by my yard and do inspections so we get pulled over less, get your truck in order, pressure wash to engine and take it by your local scales I have even called and made an appointment you need to have reports that show you passing so that when you do get an inspections your average is better.

Week before last was first time I had a broker tell me that. I’m about 2 months from a year. I’ve posed this question to myself plenty of times…… I answered “ it ain’t happening “ to myself many times also. Do companies/brokers want to see you pass or at least inspections with no OOS?

I did. Obviously hasn't affected any of the other 100 or so brokers I've dealt with in the last year. I'll just wait till it happens.
