Yep, sounds about right for meat places in general.

Someone figured out just where to put it this plant. Right where a bunch of empty Wal of China reefers are looking for loads.

How very informative... building a plant in SD, but would be too bothered to tell us where in the 77,000 square miles it would be.

 

It would probably be built in the Souix Falls area.. That would be the most logical place .... But that's just a guess on my part

 

But the family doing it is almost exclusively in the Rapid City area... and the cattle lands are "west river."

If it were in the Sioux Falls area, we'd probably follow it closely and aim to get in early, as that's right off the fringe of our operational footprint (and only 3 hours down the road). It would also allow us to hire the Sioux Falls based drivers that we currently cannot accommodate. If it is in the Rapid City area, however, it would be merely a blip on the radar off in the distance.

I'am only saying what I would do if I was gona spend a billion dollars on a plant
I would want to capture has much of the Tri State markets as I could.. and logistics wise it would make more sense to me .. plus the amount of cold storage warehouses & labor in the Souix City area vs. Rapid City
But Iam not the 1 with the Checkbook & blueprints

This article almost does make it sound like it’s going to be in Rapid City. But maybe it’s using that as a reference to where the main office of the company is?
