So it was the clutch pedal? Did they explain how that caused your issue?
-
The clutch pedal assembly is a lot different than I imagined on these Junkliners. I figured it was just a pedal arm hanging off a pivot point hooked to a rod thru the firewall to a master cylinder. Nope...the arm goes up into a big mechanism that mounts to the firewall.
I guess something inside that broke, or has been breaking because before, the clutch felt funny since the day I got the truck. Now it feels more firm and tight.Itsbrokeagain, Bumper, dwells40 and 3 others Thank this. -
Master Cylinder is built into Clutch Pedal Mechanism Assembly.
Itsbrokeagain, RussianBearTruckeR, IH9300SBA and 2 others Thank this. -
Well that's totally different than I would have thought it would be as well. Bet they were pretty proud of that item as well

Google shows around $600 new, $3-400 used on ebay

most importantly, did ya learn anything?
btw, says everything about your character. ya done the right thing imho.Itsbrokeagain, IH9300SBA, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -
Didn't learn anything I didn't already know...1, this company's equipment is under spec'd and under maintained junk, 2, they're gonna do what's in their best interest regardless of how it screws the driver, and 3, they only publicly claim to care about the driver, but couldn't care any less about them behind the scenes.dwells40, Lonesome, Itsbrokeagain and 5 others Thank this.
