Iv been seeing car haulers that lease on to carriers advertise 315k a year gross. Those with experience, is that a decent amount of poverty?
Realistic gross as a o/o

No problem getting $10,000 a week in some locations. Problem is getting yourself to work like that all year when no body forces you to work hard.Last edited: Jun 4, 2022

Seems low for car hauler to be at 315k ... Especially with diesel/equipment/insurance/maintenance costs

We have average owner ops, we have much better than average owner ops, we also have those who just want to get by. The type of owner op you are and the revenue you make is up to you. They still expect you to deliver damage free with good customer service, how much you work is up to you.
Very similar to real estate, location, location, location is very important when looking for top revenue.Blue jeans, Kawinige01, God prefers Diesels and 4 others Thank this. -
A few variables here including: what kind of work are you transporting? POV’s with multiple stops? Strictly new cars? Used cars for dealerships, etc..
I find that each of those pays differently. POVs with multiple stops, loads/unloads will usually pay the best but usually, it’s the most amount of work.
Its not unrealistic to make $8,000-$12,000+ per week as an owner op, depending on your route.
It’s a good industry. There’s money out here if you want to work..Kawinige01 and haycarter Thank this. -
Why are you only asking for a decent amount of poverty ?
