Anyone have any info on Trailer back order times? Wabash Dry Van especially. Current pricing? Has it dropped any? I see new ATCO Dry Vans advertised for$55k down from $70k a few weeks ago.

Don't know about dry vans, but a friend of mine ordered a new Great Dane reefer last year and it is supposed to be in sometime in September. He paid well over $100k with all the bells and whistles.Dadetrucking305, Puppage and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Dealer asked me if I wanted a new Wabash van today. $77,900 on the ground ready to pickup. Didn’t try and talk him down any though as I’m not in need.

Expect them to be caught up fast now, the orders dropped drastically recently and will continue to plummet with the crashing economy.
I'd hold off until Q4 at least. They will be way cheaper I guarantee!!Vampire, Dadetrucking305, TallJoe and 5 others Thank this. -
I was quoted 110k for a new utility reefer. It would probably show up next year sometime.

A character flaw of mine (one of many) is that I get a sore butt when salesmen treat me like they're doing me a favor by taking my call. Most times I never hold a grudge. That is a big exception. I can't wait until next year when this will be me non-stop:

Seems I mentioned the devil and he appeared. Quote is in today for a pair of new reefers (just the trailers, no units) decently equipped, just $86k a piece. Price is an estimate and will become firm closer to the build scheduling July/August for a Nov/Dec delivery. Now I gotta call Thermo King and get the rest of the bad news.
The sudden change of interest on their part, plus a nearly sensible timeline, suggests a bunch of orders got cancelled.86scotty, JoeyJunk, Rideandrepair and 6 others Thank this.
