I’ll admit I’m a fence sitter.
With the videos, it’s a case of “I report - you decide”.
HP and I got sideways on an issue a while back - I had an opinion on PPP loans and expressed it, somewhat poorly. I apologized, we moved on. It made me think about how I choose my words.
You'd be surprised how much you have in common with people once you sit face to face. A man may call you everything but a Maori based on his opinion, yet lend you his shirt if needed.
Anyway, there’s other places on here to hash out the details please and thank you folks .cke, BoostedTeg, IH9300SBA and 20 others Thank this. -
Excellent point Blair. Does anyone remember a time many years before technology when we were much nicer to each other. Maybe a time when we were sitting across the table or bar stool from each other instead of behind a keyboard. Whether or not we admit it we did speak differently to each other when we respected someone who might throat punch us were we to get too hateful.Sirscrapntruckalot, cke, T.Rucker and 12 others Thank this.

That was back in the days when you went to real truck stops. Places that had "Trucker Only" sections, where you would see three, four, or more truckers sitting talking. Some had met on the CB a short time earlier, some just sat down to join in the conversation. A whole line of drivers at the dining bar talking back and forth, then meeting up in the parking lot, and heading off in different directions in groups.
I've ran into people I didn't know talking on the CB, and ended up driving across the country with them until we each had to go different ways.
Trucking used to be a lot of fun. Now it's mostly a bunch of isolated people that don't even own a CB, nor will even look at anyone else in the Pilot "truckstop". -
You’re spot on— folks would help each other out — there’s still a little bit of it around out here, but nothing like it used to becke, IH Truck Guy, Feedman and 5 others Thank this.
