As way to many people have found out, you can call them super happy fun time dispensers, it doesn't matter, they un-alive you just the same. Buzz off with your nit picky semantics. This is a trucking forum, not a gun forum. I'm sure those exist, go there and be a nerd.

I make note of everything and she's right they do skim on 15 min, 30, 45 min... many times... also miles for those out-of route fuel saving solutions positions they skim on those miles or when you have then route you for required wo's you get skimmed... I was told 2800 is the minimum you'll see here, I'm a runner, I said I want 3k... used to get my 2800 to 3000 now it's 2200 to 2600? Sign of the times? Not sure what's going on bit complaining to Mike the home terminal and lazy do the least to get by am is getting old... I've got my list of companies cause or the miles aren't there for otr drivers it don't make sense they should offer us guaranteed pay of 2800 x your cpm and obviously take it away if you start changing your driving habits.. idk I'm not liking what I'm seeing and the people they're hiring has gone down the toilet! piss bottle at terminals, dirty towels and yellow stained q tips all Over the showers, sheet I've had my fkin liquid laundry detergent stolen in Mechanicsburg and it was on top of the actively running washer not the general folding table I Mean wtf... creative parkers blocking others at slc terminal... it's getting worse idk bit when the miles go it no longer makes sense its your time... at a loss sometimes but happy 4th stay safe and light some m80s and chuck them at the hammer down lane psychos (excluding the cattle haulers, they get a pass)

Aren't they supposed to pay the driver the miles driven in a rental car to recover a truck? (I was told $0.50/mi). How long does it take to get that? I busted my butt to unload my crap into a rental then drove straight from Deland to that abandoned truck near Pensacola in one day..and it's not on this check like it should be. That's $275-300 depending on how they calculate the miles. If I have to fight with them to get that pay, I will give everyone one guess as to where they can stick their next abandoned truck they want me to recover.

They offed me a loaner, but couldn’t get a one way car,so I sat in a motel for 4 days (after being broke down in a rest area for 2.5)
They kept trying to deny me breakdown pay, saying I refused the loaner.
Then why is Crete paying for the room??
    Finally after a month,they paid me,but I got burned about 2 days.

Oh, so if someone is pointing a rifle at me, I should say "excuse me sir, but could you tell me if that is a M16, or an AR15? There is an expert on every subject on a trucking forum, who insist's that the average person should know the difference just by sight. Could you please give me the information I requested? ". Newbie Trucker should have got out of his truck, and approached the officers, and had them show him the difference?

Trying to sidetrack Snackbars thread again I see.....

They paid my room when I was stuck in Cheyenne and said hell no to working the DC with a daycab. Since they couldn't move you to a loaner, then it should be paid. It's not your fault for the junk equipment breaking down or the lack of rental cars.

I ended up finding out that I have been paid for the truck recovery. I found it on last weeks check. I picked up a rental on Monday, and made it to the truck by Monday night...and was paid for it on that Friday's pay(5 days later). Haven't seen the reimbursement for fuel for the rental yet, but I did get paid for the 2 10 gal totes I bought to store the other drivers stuff.

We're working for idiots. I have less than 3.5 on my 70. While waiting to be live unloaded (at a place that is usually a drop/hook), I am sent a new appointment time for a preplan I never saw, to pu 90 miles away in Gainesville GA. Counting load time and drive time, I won't have time left to make Marietta. And this doesn't count the time I may need to do a washout.
