I guess this load has already been rescheduled multiple times due to a lack of trucks. And this is from a planner's name I've seen a fair amount, especially when doing a T-call...he's the one that is usually asking about the fuel level on the trailer that is getting dropped.Bumper, JoeyJunk and drvrtech77 Thank this.

My AM said the majority of drivers...can't seem to do more than 400 miles a day...so Creaffer is scheduling loads that way ...to fit the work ethic...of the slackersItsbrokeagain, RussianBearTruckeR, JoeyJunk and 2 others Thank this.

Maybe that's why they're pushing to hire more drivers...more drivers running less miles moving the same level of freight. And screwing those of us who like to push hard for every mile while business is good.
-
New hire drivers...are paid less cpm....and don't make the quarterly bonus...because they can't t run that hard...so more profit per loadItsbrokeagain, Geekonthestreet, Bumper and 1 other person Thank this.

I think a lot of drivers are happy with that. However, I'm not, and my AM will keep me
I don't think they do that, if you're less productive, so are they in the big picture. Some drivers are happy with 400-450 miles a day, I'm not one of them. My AM keeps me as busy as he can. I've made all but one of the bonuses since they started and I'm at top pay. I stayed out an extra week to be home over the 4th, and I'm going to be close to 35k this quarter. And that includes a couple short shag loads that were less than productive in the last couple weeks. One was 9 miles and it took them over 3 hours on a live unload. sometimes just being in the right place at the right time gets you the miles. I don't think it's any conspiracy on how many cpm you make. Keeping off of the east coast/ I-95 helps too.Bumper, JoeyJunk, newbietrucker91 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I will be about 1000 miles short of bonus land this quarter. Consequently, the load that the idiot Op's manager screwed up out of Cali going to NC when he forced me to take a short #### run, shorted me 1100 miles. So, that douchebag cost me over $700 that week, and $11-1200 in bonus money. The Snackbar campground is not a happy place right now, and neither is Mrs. Snackbar. And if he ever asks me to help out again, he will get a rather unprofessional, offensive reply over the Peoplenet, and I don't care who in Lincoln sees it
And then they had the gall to allow the system to send this

Yeah, the hourly guys have no regard for the CPM guys paycheck, at least not the after hours ones. I never had any issues getting miles and decent loads from regular dispatchers because they knew I’d get it done, even the tight runs . But I learned to be very careful in working with after hours. They’ll screw you in a heart beat. If they would curb the turnover, after hours would probably get to know the dependable runners as well. But it seems this whole industry is filled with short timers.JoeyJunk Thanks this.
