Clean feet are important to Volvo drivers

Someone told me that has something to do with their religion. I’ve offered those guys a shower when I’ve had an extra, they never accept it.

 

I'd fall on my head if I tried that. Then again, being 5'6" doesn't help

 

I don’t care what religion you are this is inappropriate. Same losers that leave water bottles in the stalls. I’m not the cleanest germ freak guy out there personally, I can’t stand seeing this though.

 

Maybe if they wore socks and shoes instead of flip-flops, they wouldn’t have to clean their feet as often.

 

Sometimes i say excuse or cough they stop immediately.....like maybe we should start calling them out, that's a health hazard if they have fungus

 

Correct - it's a part of their whole daily prayer mat ritual thingy. Which I'm cool with.

Now it comes down to assimilation. They don't consider that their practice may offend others in the society. Or go ahead and pay for a shower to get themselves cleaned up to a standard fit for their religious deal.

Personally, I avoid public restrooms, but if there's a guy in there washing his feet in the sink - and he's willing to risk busting his head open when he slips - that's on him.

Same as the 'washing your feet in the windshield wash bucket' - it doesn't affect my day any, but I'll agree that most people find it weird.

There's things in my country that may seem a little odd to other cultures - but I didn't bring them here.

 

Yeah we dont go to Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia and start grilling hotdogs

 

Yeah man....I think they call it "wudu" in the Muslim faith. Most of them wash their feet, but some of them go the whole 9 yards and clean every inch of their body prior to prayer. I think that's how it goes. If someone is of that faith or has more knowledge feel free to correct me.

 

What do they pray for? That they don’t rear ended another truck when they are doing 85 in a work zone, hit a low bridge, get hit on the shoulder while they have there high beams on?
