How does the typical door slammer even secure a load like that? There’s no way any of them carry that many van straps.

Some loads just should be hauled open deck. Chains and straps just don’t work to easily in a reefer or dryvan. We all know this but it is unreal that shippers s added carriers don’t.

I seen lots of vans with the wood strips in the floor for blocking .
Guess this one didn’t have them ?

even some dunnage like old pallets stacked on the floor around the cargo would have prevented this .

FerrissWheel, silverspur and Kyle G. Thank this.

    Hmm.

John Deere parts, I’ve hauled them in a van in crates... had straps and braced crates.

Yeah, I took them to a rework place in Kansas.
But I strapped them down, rode like they were made there, but they were top heavy

FerrissWheel and Last Call Thank this.
