The real problem I see is nobody is even talking about slowing population growth at any level..... State, national, or global.

All the news is aghast at how much energy usage has risen over the past few decades, gross energy usage is tracking with the population growth. And energy usage is growing faster than they can find efficiencies in the system.

If you don't want to build more power plants stop spawning more users.
