Most insulting thing another driver can do

Moving over a lane to let a truck on the expressway and then said truck not letting you back over.

 

if a truck catches me, i back off 2-3 mph or so & let'em go. turtle races slow everyone down.

 

Yeah one of my pet peeves is the tail gater particularly when I was hauling fuel, these large trucks would sit on your tail with total disregard to my safety, their safety and the safety of other road users, in other words they have no idea how to drive defensively thinking what happens if the vehicle in front has to suddenly stop. The general rule is depending on how large a truck was and how heavy, to keep at least a 5 second buffer, 6-8 seconds if much heavier and longer. Trucks that try and pass even if they are not going that much faster do not bother my sure I'd be lying if I denied thinking "why did they even bother trying to pass" however its not a major drama, I think if people are getting all hot and bothered over this issue then they need to take a chill pill, a break, or they've simply been in the industry to long and are letting every little incident get to them. I only get upset if someone actually does something that would seriously endanger my safety. And tail gating would be number 1 on the list of dangerous driving. Second on the list are the drivers that refuse to put their truck in a lower gear down a very steep incline this is inviting disaster if their brakes were to fail not only would they risk their own lives, and those of other road users, but show total disregard to the companies their working for equipment.

 

You would have to be a major duche to kick someone's puppy. The other 2 don't matter. I know my mom isn't a #####. I probably don't even know the driver that said it. I drive 65. I have no shame in getting passed.

 

I had dueling trucks going south on 23 from 96 this morning, the moron who went to pass just turned his turn signal on and cut off a guy in a pickup, and he was pissed of.

4 miles of this crap of them sitting next to each other going back and forth with the speed, finally the guy in the pickup hit the shoulder, passed the truck and went into the right lane, slowed the guy right down, guessing he slowed to 30, the other truck in the left lane passed and all was well.

 

Happens all the time.
But it takes 2 to tango. If the smarter one would have slowed down just 5miles.
But no both these fools causing such a hostile situation.

I do the same. It’s safer, doesn’t risk pissing others off, and I sleep better knowing I’m no an arse hole - at least for that reason.
