It's been almost 8 years since the post you quoted. @blairandgretchen has done NOTHING since then. Still a struggling owner/operator that knows nothing about anything but tries to tell everybody else how to do it. Probably still has that red T-2000 also.

Opus, RedForeman, haycarter and 13 others Thank this. -
Looks like a bunch of short posts to build longevity on the forum without understanding the space? I dunno.Opus, 4mer trucker, RedForeman and 11 others Thank this.

That's pretty awesome - I'm glad he took your advice, not for the fact he left the industry, but that he perhaps learned from you that he had potential that he hadn't realized.wore out, 4mer trucker, RedForeman and 9 others Thank this.

Another rinse and repeat LED sign going to a highway billboard site in New Britain, CT. I recalled the installer to find there's no way the rig is getting to the site, so they're organizing a day cab and 48' flat for the 'final mile'.
On the up-side, a certain member here , if available, and situation pending - has agreed to an interview.
Interesting negotiation on this one - it's that moment where you realize you should have shot higher, but you got what you get.
It's a CHR load. Unfortunately. The agent I usually deal with is apprehensive offering anything outside a $12/mile range, because CHR doesn't understand . . . anything essentially. Due to it being a CHR load, any other agent can run it on the LS board. I initially called my regular gal on it, she was gun shy - so - I thought it would be good to call the "cut and paste" A. Taylor agent, and offer a high bid. So CHR would get a 'range'.
Be darned - kid called CHR and they Ok'ed it, and also 'trapped' the load for 15 minutes.
I quickly call my gal and explain - she tries to bis $100 lower to get the load, but it's locked out to her. I apologize and explain my mentality, she's good with it, but I think it may have taught us both a lesson.
Cut and paste gets the load, and here we are. My gal normally cuts out $1,000 load, $1,000 unload, FSC @ $1/mile - A. Taylors' crowd wants to fight me tooth and nail on this BS.
Next time will be different - I'd love to steal their specialized freight - heck, all their freight from those ######## if I could. They understand zero about the business. Everything from hotshots to specialized trailers, and they get the worst customer service ever with these clowns.
Rant over.
