I have replaced the steering box (had a leak), tie rod ends, drag link, both king pins, bushings, new shocks, new centramatics, brand new Bridgestones m213 (their new one forgot exact name) and lastly an alignment. I even replaced all 3 knuckle joints on steering shaft. 15k miles later both shoulders on both tires are down 3mm on last half inch. This is the second set I’ve burned through. Don’t know what else to do.

Your alignment, was it done at a reputable shop? If it was done like at a TA I would try somewhere else.

Tire pressure is something I’d look into also. Are they set to door jamb recommend pressure? Do you run a lot of heavy loads..perhaps increasing pressure would help.

Alignment is done by a big Michelin shop and they do my other trucks great. Tires at 105 psi and are 11r24.5 and I actually only run about 11,300 on steers. I don’t haul heavy.

Only thing I can think of is the drive axles are a little worn on the tires and could be replaced soon and with an alignment. But would it be possible the drive axles can mess up the steers?

All I can suggest is to take it to Chad at MD alignment in Kansas City. He’ll inspect first and won’t align until the mechanical cause(s) are addressed first. Let me know if you need his number, but you’ll find him on a Goog search.

This has been an issue with that tire line. They are not testing very well. Mic and Bri have had to change compounding mixes due to epa bs. This effects all made in north america.
Stupid stuff like certain chemicals in the tire dust from wearing rubber building up on roadsides and getting into ground water or causing cancer. China and other off shore tires are exempt tho so we are still ok.
