Where is everyone #5

Some good fun conversation going on. I can not keep up. These SOB's convinced me to work a Saturday.

 

Ha ha. Short story is her dad moved to New York from Trinidad around 1970. He was there for 2 days and got mugged. He went back to the airport and got on the cheepest flight he could, to Edmonton, Alberta. Met a german farm girl and viola.
Me and the wife met in school, but didn't date until a few years after. My wife and I have built our little empire together.
Our life in the beginning was similar to a trucker family. For 13 years I commuted 500km away for work on a 5 on 5 off shift. It takes a strong partner to make that work with 2 kids. But it allowed her to stay home and raise our kids. They have never seen the inside of a daycare.

 

Hehe! It's that good old Berta charm that folks can't get enough of. We are a likable bunch aren't we??

 

One coffee just ain't enough. Might have to make a detour to a Tim's on the way back. Haven't had to get up at 4 am to go to work in a looooong time.

It was really nice, let me tell you. Back then we actually had a private life. It was a pain to find a rest area or truck stop to call in or get load information, but I would go back to that in a second. Back then, if you had a problem you looked for someone that actually had experience, and could answer your question. Now you jump on YouTube and listen to some bonehead who gives an opinion rather than factual knowledge or a fat 50 year old woman who has never had a kid tell you how to raise one. Yes sir!! Give me the good old days any day.

 

Heck even at my age typing class was on typewriters. And the incriminating video and pictures do not exist of my childhood and young adult shenanigans!

 

Well thats it! Now you have done it! From this point on, any and all of that stuff is now all on you. What were you thinking post rude pictures like that.
