Where is everyone #5

Spending the weekend in Bordentown NJ at the Petro. My load that I booked Friday morning cancelled at 330pm while I was en route to load. Ugh. I'll find something Monday.

Took the truck through the Blue Beacon to get washed and left the trailer in my reserved parking spot. The Blue Beacon is at the other end of the parking lot so I head on over. I'm gone 45 minutes and I come back to another dam-n truck backed up in front of my trailer, again. While I was driving back to my trailer I saw at least 30 open reserved spots to park in and this guy chooses mine. Luckily he was in the truck. He moved down 5 spots and backed in to a spot in front of someone elses trailer.

My guess is that he does not want to pay to park and he backs up to a trailer to make it look like he is supposed to be in a paid spot.

I’m thinking it’s aluminum but not sure. I wasn’t there after he started stripping it down…

Actually, the worst thing is not finding something you know you have, and you need it now, so you accumulate extras, besides the tools you set aside for specific vehicles or purposes...there's always a need for something you just can't find when you need it. I did that couple weeks ago when searching for a basin spanner wrench when I was rebuilding the toilet tank a few weeks ago...had to buy another one though I know I have one somewhere, but just couldn't find it and didn't have any wrenches big enough to do the job without butchering the nuts...so bought another one. Then I'll find the first one and have to figure out which tool chest to the put the old one in now.

 

Zoe has decided that we should upgrade to larger traveling quarters …..

Geez, i read these posts about changing careers and Im still on the fence about what to do. I got to the page to pay for my dot number and stopped. Yall aint helping any. I hate my job but its not going away anytime soon. I got to suck it up and move on one way or the other.
