Is America About To Run Out Of Diesel?

    I read yesterday that America has a 22-day supply of diesel. On top of that, OPEC is cutting supplies. I know the news is sensationalist, but that is concerning. I don't want to get stranded somewhere because of a fuel shortage. If we actually run out of diesel in 22 days, I'm guessing we'll run out of everything else in 23 days. I'm wondering if I should plan to take a leave of absence from work until this #### show irons itself out.

    If you take a leave of absence until it irons itself out , you may as well sell the truck and entire business because its not getting better any time soon.... I'm guessing the 25 days of supply is strictly reserve... America produces a #### ton of oil everyday and it's not going to stop... although if it ever did, that would be the wake up call that the citizens of America really need to open their eyes...

    I wouldn't worry about it. That's pretty much the average for US reserves. I'm guessing it's another ploy to cause panic and raise fuel prices.

    .......... and dont forget about toilet paper. When these shortages in the US come up, it usually aint but a few days until there is a toilet paper shortage...

    Reminds me of the 1970's.... (with a panicked, screaming voice) "We only have 2 years worth of oil left in the earths core".

    This just suddenly came up out of nowhere and started all sorts of foolishness including gas rationing, shortages & high gas prices. Oh, and dont forget about "deregulation on gas".
    Fifty years later & with 10 times more vehicles & with people driving more than ever.......... there's fuel everywhere... all you want to buy.

    Lies & scare tactics.

    We are fine here on the West Coast. Seems the issues are on the other side of the country. You can add on an additional tank and take a load to the west coast, then fill up, especially in Commiefornia with our(no Vasoline)prices and head back.

    I’m paying $5.19 a few miles from the house at a off the path fuel stop here in WV. But off exit 15 of I-64 here at Gomart it’s like $5.49

    Couple weeks ago I was paying $4.49 at the off the path fuel stop here….
