No weight limit autonomous trucks

Not really. If they meet certain criteria they can bypass weigh stations for inspection purposes, but they still have to respond to being pulled over. It's also a directive put out by CVSA, which makes the inspection criteria but has zero enforcement powers if the state wants to ignore them. It has nothing to do with weight other than not needing to actually be weighed. If it's overloaded it's still a violation, although yes in most states that's enforced at the weigh stations so catching an overload trailer will be difficult.

Even in his stupid short video he said that it will be "shipper responsibility to load a truck".
Now drive through Alabama, where they have scale - in motion, technically there is no weight station, but camera and sensor can easy identify what weight you have on each axle even now.
My verdict - guy is just a dushbag , trying to make extra $$$ from idiots watching him without trying to turn on their brain

It should be the shippers responsibility for the legal load anyway.
So they over load you, you gotta find a car scale, see your overloaded, go back to get it fixed.
If at anytime during this, you get stopped, who pays?

Autonomous Trucks have no Top End restrictions except when enhanced by Artificial Incompetence......or so speak the voices.
