You can change the voice and speed of the nag...even change language it speaks. When I left, I was gonna change mine to a male voice speaking Chinese or Arabic just to F with the next poor schmuck that fell for their b.s. claims but I didn't... didn't have the heart to add injury...the poor driver would be miserable enough in short order

Dispatch - Are you still going to make on time delivery?
Hope driver got somewhere warm to stay in while he waits for them to excavate his truck from the snow.Loudstacks, D.Tibbitt, dwells40 and 2 others Thank this. -
Don't you hate it when your phone rings right when you fell asleep and then can't get back to sleep?
Got around 1 hour of sleep in but now, no matter how long I shut my eyes I just can't doze off.
Anyway the cause of this was leaving my phone on and not on silent and then having dispatch ask if I could cover another drivers load.
All I was told was that it delivered same day in Houston as ny current load but driver would not make on time delivery so I accepted. Nothing was said that load also had TWO Walmart stops in the Dallas and Ft worth area.
One stop on Ft Worth side and next on Dallas side. After looking at appointment times found that not even I would make delivery ontime for final so came up with a plan.
Said if driver could make the 2 stops then tcall at our wilmer terminal I'll be able to get load to final by 6am.
After 2 hours tcall pulled and told driver doesn't think he will be able to do that and to just forget about it...
OK so now unless driver has nothing on his 70 I find that hard to accept. Tcall was for today at 6pm just 130 miles from his first stop. Stop 1 and 2 just 70 miles apart and deliver following day, and and then it's just 37 miles from stop 2 to terminal. At most that's like 5 hours of driving....
Just feel like driver really didn't want to do those 2 Walmart DC stops. Just had to vent my frustration and prepare to buy some energy drinks for tonight since it doesn't look like I'll be falling back to sleep again now that my brain all thinking...D.Tibbitt, Lonesome, O.Henry and 1 other person Thank this. -
That’s them coddling a lazy driver is what that is… that is what they do best over there… They screw the good ones over while they turn around and hold the hands of the lazy one and don’t do a #### thing to them… I would’ve told the driver to either deliver the loads or find another job. But we all know they won’t do that because they don’t wanna lose drivers.D.Tibbitt, dwells40, newbietrucker91 and 3 others Thank this.

I wonder how many bad boy points he'll get...I can hear safety now..."you knew the weather was gonna be bad, you should have stopped sooner...the next defensive driving class is next Tuesday at whoziewhatsit terminal "D.Tibbitt, dwells40, newbietrucker91 and 2 others Thank this.

If they did that then they'd be bugging me as much as they are bugging you...
D.Tibbitt, Lonesome and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
Saftey will say that's completely preventable since weather forecast was known in advance, and hit driver with 5 or so saftey points.
