I was on i10 at the ag inspection and the right (truck) lane was backed way up, so I moved over to the next empty lane. Which I've and done, and seen done many times before without issue. But this time, the lady got super butthurt for some reason. On my bol it just says "parts". She asked if I knew what kind of parts, I said "no". She then had another lady make a copy, put a big red stamp on the copy, handed me back my bills and said "go" (with an attitude). Anyone have any idea what that might have been about?

Do not hand them your paperwork, that’s why the line gets so backed up because they’re constantly trying to figure out what you have.
When I pull up I tell them what I have in the back of my trailer and they waive me on.

Because some people like to act like A holes every chance they get.

9 out of 10 times I tell them whatever I’m hauling and they wave me through. Every once in awhile there’s someone there that has an attitude and asks for the paperwork. I haul dry van.

Pulling reefer. Coming into CA through 4 points of enter often. Roll up tell them in a clear voice what’s in the back, while BOL is in hand just in case.

I’m sure they appreciate me making it easy on them by not mumbling, speaking over the reefer, not wasting time. In turn it’s typically have a nice day. I thank them and roll.

All that happens before the truck behind me perceives that I even stopped.

Because they charge taxes and tarrifs on certain goods manufactured out of state ... and they fake that they keep up on what crosses their border.

Flatbed is because they import tax almost all wholesale building supplies.

I used to work for North American Pipe ... and knew to have my bol ready to be copied.
