I second that. I'd like to add that appearance, professionalism and a good first impression make a difference.

 

I got lucky, I’ve worked 7 days straight late January, had 7 days off after, then worked 1 day so far in February. I’m on a roll….. that comes to 8 days in that time frame.

 

Gotta have connections, don’t you have any homies to help you out ?

 

We're rolling again. Took 17 weeks off last year lol.

We are not ashamed however.

 

So I heard some lady talk in the other day about selling make up. She talked a lot, but what I took from it was
“your friends are not necessarily who you’re looking to have as customers. Make friends with your new customers.”

All the friends I ever had that got me work; it wouldn’t add up to six figures all in.

Sometimes you got to make it happen like you ain’t got friends.

 

So true, I’ve had friends(so-called)tell me the grass is greener on this side, come on over, yadda yadda yadda…….. I didnt think about it twice, I’m good with the connections I have and know. But referring to the OP, he has to start somewhere, figured why not asked around his hood. Most of us have learned who and who not to haul for (101 style). That’s the way you learn, now this would work back in the days when everything was reasonable, “Today”, I try to tell individuals that want to get into it, not to. It’s a hard struggle to get started.
