When I submit an application at a company they just bombard my mom's cell phone with calls. Last company had two different recruiters calling her phone.
Some snide person probably wants to know why I would put mommy's phone number. I don't live in the USA. Don't have a USA phone number anymore. Most platforms won't even fit a foreign number.
But the real reason is that I don't want all these snake oil salespeople called recruiters promising to align the sun moon and the stars verbally. Just want to get them to commit to an email dialogue for that reason alone.
Can I use a number like (000) 000-0000?
OK to give a fake phone number on a short app or long app?
