How is the air compressor? I have 2 a neighbor gave me and the air compressors are junk. I'm not expecting them to air up to 120, just wonder if any of them have a decent enough system to put in a personal vehicle that will reliably air up a car tire.

In my pea brain, I think the tank capacity and cf/m and compressor is what's needed, unless I'm unaware of some newer technology that exists to air up a tire from 0 to 35PSI, let alone 110PSI. - in a portable unit.

I’ve used it several times to air up my personal car tires. One time I had to go rescue my wife, she had a flat. She pulled off the road in parking lot like I’ve taught her(never park side of the road). I have the AAA club but she wasn’t far so I went, expecting to change it to the spare, but I took this small portable Cat compressor and I tried it. It aired it up all the way, could’ve had enough time to do a quickie in the back seat meanwhile
, in other words, it takes a little while. It does the job though. It airs up my golf cart tires at my other place quickly. Hope this helps.
blairandgretchen and Siinman Thank this. -
The one I posted has no tank and can air up a Truck tire if you have battery life.blairandgretchen Thanks this.

yes, I have a bunch of them, the battery is why its so large. the smaller units just didn't last on a few jumps for the trucks that don't have the Maxwell system.Siinman and blairandgretchen Thank this.

I bought one with a compressor at WM. Charged it all the way up. About a week later, I needed to jump my riding mower and it wouldn't do it. Back to WM it went.
I'll be getting another one soon. Some good tips in this thread.Siinman Thanks this.
