Your likely correct lol. Im just saying what i saw seeing a dd16 and mp8 side by side one just looked much better built. Maybe if i saw a 13 and mp8 side by side there would be less diffrence but that DD16 looked real ragged in comparison and the MP8 semeed to hsve bigger bolts snd thicker metal in places.

But again my experince is the macks always just felt better felt to have better power and basically gave exactly 0 ####s about hills where the volvo i used struggled pretty hard and we had a string of them that constantly exploded at the post office which likely colors my opinion /shrug.

Least they arent a #### paccar lol!

It is all in the set up with what RAR and program you are using with the engine. Both have all the same settings and also both also have the Turbo compound available. The link I sent was for the non turbo compound engines. If you pick a junk set up then they will be crap on hills. I have the D13 with 500 HP set up and 2.79 RAR 12 speed I Shift. I normally am first up mountains when I want to be but I rarely try since I don't need to be.

Yeah, modern trucks are junk. No sound, no soul, no nostalgia. I'll take an oldie over modern anyday.

 

Again not doubting you my friend. Just stateing my opinion from my personal experince. That said ill take an eyeball at those tonight before bed. Seeing as i plan to buy a new mack eventually here the more info the better.

Though with the whole bank situation im a bit spooked and may hold off until after the elections and play my hand close to my vest. Worst case if my pete blows up i can go back to being company and just build up a larger nestegg or install the C15 ive started the rebuild process on myself.

Ive been thinking ill hold off on the mack till i can get at least 50% down. Too much up in the air for me to want to risk a giant loan like that and my pete has less then 30k left on the note anyway. If i do the rebuild and install myself i can basically restore the pete for half my macks downpayment and have no truck payment besides. Anyway we should likely move to notes XD ive derailed this thread.

 

If someone is offended by Christmas, I suggest you inform them they have to rename each and every religious event celebrated by other religions because you find it offensive. I have had actually had issues with this one place I worked and had to have an attorney write a very straight and to the point letter that any attempt at trying to force me to not celebrate my religious beliefs would be dealt with in court! This Lunatic was also from commefornia!
