    Gun probably wasn’t stolen, he just wasn’t legal to own a firearm,as a felon.
    He doesn’t have the legal right to protect himself with a firearm,though i know some with felonies from weed from when they were kids.(17-20ish)

    Either way,he should’ve known better. Doesn’t help that his load had a securement issue(chains,what chains??).

    The revolver may have been right there out in the open. Plus when the driver’s license was run through the database more than likely his record came up.
