To the OP and everyone else, I don't know how you do it? I have a philosophy. I believe that any time you are on duty you should be compensated for that time. Seems pretty simple to me.

 

Good ol DHT...they have some how kept their head above water for a few years now. I imagine they'll put themselves out sooner than later.

 

I look at the end of week results. Some guys get compensated for everything and make peanuts. I worked for a company for 2 years and primarily only got cpm. Made enough to buy new truck and new trailer and start my own thing. Got to look at it all. Like I say, look at the math.

 

Think what you want.
I’ve got the Hat and shirts to prove I worked there, pulled tankers, truck was number 27570.
Made .60/mile.
Was about to get a raise, they topped out then at .62/mile.

 

That's a good philosophy. I think like you do as well. I think people get too hung up on cpm. Thay don't mean a thing...Danny Herman seems to dish out miles, at least that was what I took from other drivers. If the OP was able to buy a truck, and stayed 2 years, I'm not really convinced it was all bad. I'm not really oncvonced he will make much more as an owner, especially right off the bat.
