Thanks for sharing your opinion for a company you never worked at. I stayed there for 2 years to save up to buy a truck.
I just wouldn't recommend them to anyone especially Cdl students that have no idea what their getting into. The only reason I posted this thread was inform would be applicants on my experience and too stay away.
Danny Herman you're fired!

Don’t make your job harder, than need be.
If they didn’t pay what i thought was good, i’d leave.
I worked for Schneider and got .60/mile back 7 years ago1029384746 Thanks this. -

To the OP and everyone else, I don't know how you do it? I have a philosophy. I believe that any time you are on duty you should be compensated for that time. Seems pretty simple to me.

Good ol DHT...they have some how kept their head above water for a few years now. I imagine they'll put themselves out sooner than later.1029384746 Thanks this.

It's a dam shame their good people but they can't compete with the larger companies! I have 4 yrs experience clean record. 51cpm are you kidding me?

I look at the end of week results. Some guys get compensated for everything and make peanuts. I worked for a company for 2 years and primarily only got cpm. Made enough to buy new truck and new trailer and start my own thing. Got to look at it all. Like I say, look at the math.mjd4277, Frank Speak, bryan21384 and 1 other person Thank this.

Think what you want.
I’ve got the Hat and shirts to prove I worked there, pulled tankers, truck was number 27570.
Made .60/mile.
Was about to get a raise, they topped out then at .62/mile.1029384746 Thanks this. -
That's a good philosophy. I think like you do as well. I think people get too hung up on cpm. Thay don't mean a thing...Danny Herman seems to dish out miles, at least that was what I took from other drivers. If the OP was able to buy a truck, and stayed 2 years, I'm not really convinced it was all bad. I'm not really oncvonced he will make much more as an owner, especially right off the bat.1029384746 and Numb Thank this.
